Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is a famous American actress and producer. She has been recognized for her stellar roles in films such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano, and The Incredibles. The film Piano earned her numerous awards which included an Oscar. The successful actress began her career in acting by performing on stage, through a variety of Broadway and Off-Broadway shows. The art of acting has been a constant obsession. In fifth grade, she was cast as Helen Keller in an original play. The mumps that she contracted left her deaf and blind in one ear, but she did not allow this to stop her from becoming an actress. After studying drama in college and moving into New York City with her ambitions in mind. Hunter was trapped in an elevator with the playwright Beth Henley when she met her. Together they created Broadway Crimes of the Heart in which Hunter made her Broadway debut. When she moved into Los Angeles she tried to obtain film roles and was offered a supporting role for the role of a supporting character in Swing Shift. Her career spans more than 30 years, and she's been featured in a variety of TV films or series, as well as films. Holly Hunter received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and was also awarded an award called the Women in Film Lucy Award.
